Landscape Design
The Plan Comes First. Then the Shovels.
The layout, the plant list with sizes, where the beds fall and how it phases if you are not doing it all at once. You see it before anything gets bought.
Three things decide whether a plant lives. How much sun that spot actually gets, what the soil holds, and where the water goes in a hard rain. All three get checked on site.
The plant in the pot is not the plant in three years. Spacing is set for what it becomes, which is why a new bed looks a little sparse and a good one looks right by season two.
Property size, how much is being reworked, and whether hardscape is involved. The plan itself is a fixed number before any planting is quoted.
Not every property has to be done at once. A plan lets you do the front this year and the back next, without the two halves looking like different houses.
Landscape design explained
Why does a piece-by-piece yard look pieced together?
How it works
How we plan your landscape.
1.
We walk the yard
We walk it with you and listen. What you want it to look like, and what you want to spend.
2.
Sun, soil, drainage
We map what the yard actually gives us before choosing a single plant.
3.
The plan on paper
A layout you can hold, with plants named and placed, so you know exactly what you are approving.
4.
Priced and phased
One price for the whole plan, or phases in an order that will not undo earlier work.

Landscape Design
The layout, the plant list and the price, all agreed before a shovel moves.

Sod Installation
Old turf stripped, the grade corrected, new sod laid tight so the seams knit.

Lawn Maintenance
Cut, edged and blown clean on a schedule you can set your week by.

Tree & Shrub Pruning
Deadwood out, canopy lifted, shrubs shaped, and every bit of it hauled away.

Landscape Lighting
Uplights on the palms and path lights along the walks, with every run buried.
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes WesCo different from other lawn companies?
Wesley has more than twenty years in the trade and still runs the crew, and WesCo is veteran-owned and family-run. The people who quote your property are the people who work it, every visit. Bradenton voted us its Best in 2024.
What areas do you serve?
Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and Anna Maria Island. If you are not sure whether you are in it, ask us and we will tell you straight.
Are you insured?
Yes. Fully insured, and happy to put the documentation in your hands before any work begins.
How does the estimate process work?
Reach out and tell us what the property needs. We come out, walk it with you, and give you a written quote. Free, and no obligation.
What should I expect once the work starts?
Our crew handles it start to finish. We keep the site clean while we work, and if anything comes up, a drainage problem or a plant that will not suit the spot, you hear it from us the same day rather than after the fact.
What does a free estimate include?
We come out, walk the property with you and talk through what it actually needs. You get a written quote with the scope on it. Free, and no obligation to book.
